How ViralTag Doubled My Traffic In 14 Days (Second Month Blogging)

When I first started 'blogging' back in 2014, I never took it seriously at all. I had no sense of direction, I was just trying to rewrite or 'copy' what other people were doing and well, I just had no idea what it really meant to blog. I was directionless and easily swayed by shiny things and my biggest mistake back then? Underestimating the power of Pinterest.

Which brings us to 2017, when somehow the answer just slapped me in the face (with many problems in life that gave me that certain kick to do something) and I started studying other peoples success hard. It took me one full month to sort the valuable information from the lip service and it took many tries to actually get it right.

There were many times that I just wanted to quit and to be completely honest, I did.

For an entire week. My traffic fell and then I had to build it up again.

After I quit the blog in 2014, came back again in 2015, quit once again, attempted in 2016 and quit again. Yes, it's a true story. I FINALLY shaped up and got cracking.

In March, I did a prelaunch sort of thing where I got used to pinning other peoples content, creating more boards and figuring out how things really go. (I'm not counting it as my first month due to it being a research phase)

In April, that's when the AWESOME stuff happened. I successfully reached 15 000+ pages for the entire month. It definitely was not an easy ride. It was frustrating during the beginning and middle since I kept comparing myself to others and then my brother gave me an epic line.

You have no idea how many times this line stopped me from getting obsessive and giving up.

Also, I have to admit that the views were quite shocking to me since I was doing manual pinning (WHICH IS REALLY HARD).

And now for May, I signed up for the 14 day free trial on the 5th with ViralTag.

BEST MOVE EVER. I managed to double my pages views from last month in just 14 days. Currently 19/05, my pageviews are sitting on 32 000+

The answer?

What is ViralTag?

ViralTag is your best friend.

No I'm kidding, maybeIt is basically a managing-scheduling online service that allows you to easily schedule all your posts at the best times to multiple sites such as Pinterest, Facebook, Twitter and more.

It saves you time and money as well as gives you an opportunity for better results if used right.

I love how easy it is to schedule pins for Pinterest and all it takes is the schedule button that is on your pins or you could also use the extension. I find the schedule button convenient for me. It took me a few days to realise that was how you schedule. I have no idea why it took me so long to figure that out!

The best thing that they offer is a bulk option as well as the fact that you can literally have your whole month planned out just within a few minutes.

It also provides a great analysis of for your account to enable you to see what works best.

I did try a few other trials for schedulers but I find that ViralTag works best for me. It's convenient, doesn't edit your Pinterest account, let's you quickly scheduled pins and it just plain awesome.

Start your free 14 day trial with ViralTag over here.

Also, when you sign up with my link, you'll get a $15 credit to your account. DOUBLE WIN.

With that being said, I never saw the importance of having a scheduler  before since I thought I could be like superwoman and do everything myself. Although, what I didn't realize that it's okay not to do everything by yourself. Help is good. Help is great, actually.

ViralTag was able to target the morning viewers in which I really couldn't.

So, if you're a new blogger and feeling a little demotivated, don't. Try the free 14 day trial and make sure to target your AM traffic. It will most likely increase your traffic.

Another key move is to get on more group boards that are above 25 000 followers! It's a must. For finding group boards, check out Pingroupie.

For me, it's not like mind-blowing traffic or anything since I'm dedicated to trying harder and increasing it more but for a new blogger I consider this quite good! I'm hopping that the months to come will be even more epic and I also can't way to see how I end off this month.

I will try my best!
