For many DIY's, I face them with solid determination, a positive thinking and a fabulous expectation that it's going to turn out exactly like the image but as I embrace on the journey, I end up hitting a wall because my DIY looks nothing like theirs. It sucks, really. Have you experienced something similar? Well, if you've had or not, I think it's safe to say that this very tutorial will not let you down.
It's quite a simple and easy do it yourself project that will have you smiling in pleasure while making it and being ecstatic at what an awesome difference it makes to your home decor. Thanks to Mein Feenstaub, we can now learn how to make a hanging succulent display to revamp and upcycle a room with a small but powerful punch with this English translation below:
For this tutorial, you will need:
- Empty can
- Spray Paint
- Gold or silver chain
- A cordless drill
Take an empty can and spray paint it in your color of choice.
Drill three holes for the chain to pass through at the top of the can with a good distance between each hole.
Take your thin chain and use the pliers to cut them into 4 parts. 3 of those parts must be the same length while the last chain must be considerably longer than the others.
Insert the chain into the hole and create a small loop. See picture below.
Once you have threaded all three chains through their respective holes, bend the ends of the two chains and join them together with the third. Lastly, attach the fourth (the longest) to the joint of the three chains for suspension.
